Each August, Gadsden becomes the destination of thousands of "Yard Sale Crazies" who want to get their start at the Southern "Point of Beginning" for this 690 mile sale that runs from Gadsden to Hudson, Michigan. Also known as the "127 or 127 Corridor Sale" this sale began in 1985 in Fentress County, TN as an event to draw motorists off the Interstates.

The Sale is always the first Thursday through Sunday in August and hotels sell out early. Empty your trunk, later on the sunscreen, fill up your gas tank and water bottle, and head to Gadsden for Yard Sale Heaven!
